Unanimous adoption of PCNS recommendations demonstration of Parliamentary supremacy: President
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari congratulated the Prime Minister, Parliament, all the political parties in the ruling coalition, opposition and independents, and the Parliamentary Committee on National Security over the unanimous adoption of recommendations of PCNS for new terms of engagement with US/NATO/ISAF in the Joint Sitting of Parliament on April 12, 2012. Spokesperson to the President Senator Farhatullah Babar said that the President said that it was a demonstration of not only Parliamentary supremacy, but also that the political parties are united and can rise above partisan considerations on issues of national importance. The President said that the Parliament has done the nation proud.
