Allied parties discuss coalition matters and current situation in country
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani chaired a meeting of heads of allied parties at the Presidency on June 13, 2012, and discussed coalition matters and the current situation in the country. The meeting was attended by Senator Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, Senator Haji Adeel Ahmed Khan, Senator Afrasiab Khattak, Haider Abbas Rizvi, Senator Babar Khan Ghouri, Senator Mir Israrullah Zehri, Senator Abbas Khan Afridi and Munir Khan Orakzai. Spokesperson to President Senator Farhatullah Babar was also present. The President briefed the meeting on his visit to Beijing for participation in the SCO Summit and his bilateral meetings with the Presidents of Iran, Afghanistan and China.
