President gives assent to Finance Bill 2012
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari gave his assent to the Finance Bill 2012 on June 26, 2012, to give effect to the financial proposals of the government for the financial year beginning 1st July, 2012 and to amend certain laws. Spokesperson to the President Senator Farhatullah Babar said that the President signed the bill on the advice of the Prime Minister. The Finance Bill was passed by the National Assembly on June 14, 2012.
