President condoles Rao Hashim's death, veteran PPP leader buried
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on July 15, 2012, expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of PPP leader Rao Hashim, who died in Pakpatan on July 14, 2012. The late PPP leader was buried in Pakpattan on July 15, 2012. The President in his condolence message said that late Rao Hashim was a party loyalist and had given a lot of sacrifices for the PPP, also that his services for the cause of democracy would always be remembered. The President prayed to Allah Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and to give courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude. Late Rao Hashim had also held the office of chairman of Land Commission of Pakistan and Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
