President telephones Pir Sadruddin to condole sister's death
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on July 19, 2012, rang Pir Sadruddin and condoled with him the demise of his sister, who had expired in a road accident in Saudi Arabia on July 18, 2012 while she was there to perform Umra. The President, while expressing grief and sympathies with the bereaved families, prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and to give courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude. The President asked Pir Sadruddin Shah to convey his condolences to Pir Pagara, who is in London these days. Alongside, he also inquired about the well-being of his son, who fell prey to a firing incident in Pir Jo Goth on July 18, 2012 and further indicated that the authorities concerned had been directed to probe the matter and bring the culprits to justice. Pir Sadruddin Shah, in turn, thanked the President for his gesture.
